The new “Games of Thrones” trailer for Season 6 addressed Jon Snow’s death, but that’s not all people care about in Westeros.

The 1-minute-and-40-second trailer gave audiences brief, yet telling glimpses at what’s coming: more war, more sex, more White Walkers and more Bran.

Here are seven things we learned from the trailer.

1. Jon Snow is Dead, Dead, Dead

The trailer opens to Jon laying in the snow with a pool of blood around him. An unknown voice says, “He’s gone.”

But the fact that he’s dead means nothing in the “Game of Thrones” universe, as many people have come back from the dead… in one form or another.

2. Queen Cersei and Jaime Lannister Are Still as Strong as Ever

In the trailer, we also see Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei (Lena Headey) looking worse for wear after both suffered serious losses at the end of Season 5. However, a quick clip shows Cersei biting someone’s ear what can only be Jaime’s, as the twins have been in an incestual relationship for years from which they also have three kids.

3. Lady Melisandre Doubts The Lord of Light

Lady Melisandre is also known as the Red Woman or the priestess of the Lord of Light, who claims to wield powerful magical abilities, particularly the power of prophecy by looking into the flames of fire.

However, in season five, Melisandre tells Stannis Baratheon that he will take Winterfell after she suggested to sacrifice his daughter, Shireen, to better his chances in the upcoming battle to take the castle. However, her composure begins to waver as half of Stannis’ army disappears and Stannis’ wife is found dead.

“All of it was a lie,” she now says in the trailer.

4. Daenerys Is Held Captive, Returns to Vaes Dothrak

At the end of Season 5, we saw Daenerys surrounded by Dothraki after she fled from an ambush on her dragon. A clip in the trailer shows her in chains and heading past the hoof gate of Vaes Dothrak, a city she had come to know when she was married to Khal Drogo.

5. The Mountain Will Be Back in Action

In the trailer, a member of the religious group Sparrows asks Queen Cersei to step aside or “choose violence.” Now that The Mountain is back from the dead and looks more menacing than ever, she chooses the latter. For those who forgot, The Mountain was poisoned by Oberyn’s Manticore venom during their brutal fight. Qyburn experiments on The Mountain to keep him from dying, and he is changed in the process. He becomes a new part of Cersei’s guard, and his disfigured appearance is hidden by a full suit of armor.

6. There Will be a Big War

The trailer is full of battle scenes featuring arrows soaring through the sky and horses tumbling amidst vicious blood baths. If there are multiple, expect the biggest of the battles to arrive in the penultimate episode at the tail-end of the season.

trailer6

7. Bran is Back and Comes Face to Face with a White Walker

At the very end of the trailer, we see Bran, who didn’t appear in Season 5 of the series. Bran, now looking much older, turns around to see a White Walker, a supernatural threat to mankind of the Seven Kingdoms.
