HBO released the first full-length trailer for “Game of Thrones” Season 6 on Tuesday.

It begins with Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) looking very much dead, while a voice says over the video, “He’s gone.” We also see Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei (Lena Headey) looking worse for wear after both suffered serious losses at the end of Season 5.

Cersei also faces off with her cousin/former lover Lancel (Eugene Simon), who still fights on behalf of the High Sparrow. He demands Cersei order The Mountain (Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson) to stand aside, but instead, Cersei chooses the path of violence.

In a few quick shots, we also see what appears to be Jon Snow being prepared for burial by the Night’s Watch while Davos (Liam Cunningham) wields Jon’s Valyrian steel sword, Longclaw. In another quick shot, we see Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) standing toe to toe with the Night’s King.

The trailer also prominently features the song “Wicked Game” performed by James Vincent McMorrow.

“Game of Thrones” returns to HBO for Season 6 on April 24.
