Focus Features has released the first trailer for Gerard Butler’s action movie “London Has Fallen,” a sequel to 2013’s sleeper hit “Olympus Has Fallen.”
Butler returns as Secret Service agent Mike Banning, and he’s joined again by Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett, Melissa Leo, Radha Mitchell, Robert Forster and Aaron Eckhart as the President of the United States. The sequel also adds Jackie Earle Haley to the mix.
Directed by Babak Najafi, the sequel finds terrorists blowing up London as they try to assassinate world leaders while attending the funeral of the British Prime Minister.
“Olympus Has Fallen” grossed $161 millon worldwide, which was enough to justify a sequel that will hit theaters on March 4, 2016.
