“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star Glenn Howerton (also of “The Mindy Project”) will appear in multiple episodes of Showtime’s “House of Lies” next season.

The actor will play Seth Buckley, a mayoral candidate who seeks advice from Clyde (Ben Schwartz). So, good luck with that, Seth.

“House of Lies” stars Don CheadleKristen BellBen Schwartz, Josh Lawson, Donis Leonard Jr. and Glynn Turman. The series is based on tell-all book “House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time” by Martin Kihn.

The TV adaptation was created by and is executive produced by Matthew Carnahan. Jessika Borsiczky, Cheadle and David Walpert served as executive producers for the series’ fourth season.

On Season 4 of the Showtime production, Marty’s (Cheadle) brief stint in white collar prison left the firm in shambles and a pregnant Jeannie (Bell) in charge of Clyde (Schwartz), Doug (Lawson), and a tainted Kaan & Associates. Client flight decimated the bottom line, but Marty returned on the scene with a singular focus: winning, at any and all cost.

Last season wrapped up answering some burning questions, as Marty fought to save Kaan & Associates from the brink while Jeannie was giving birth to their baby. Meanwhile, Clyde and Doug’s billionaire venture going bust had an unexpected upside, while Marty’s son Roscoe (Leonard Jr.) atoned for his illegal side business.
