Hillary Clinton’s cameo on “Broad City” nearly sent hosts Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer into convulsions.
In the opening to this week’s episode of the Comedy Central series, Glazer brags about her time spent volunteering for the Clinton campaign. As Jacobson marvels at the fact that she’s standing where Clinton herself may have stood, she gets the shock of a lifetime when the candidate herself strolls over.
Both Glazer and Jacobson lose their ability to speak as Clinton tries to introduce herself. This is the latest comedy cameo for Clinton.
She appeared on “Saturday Night Live” opposite Kate McKinnon, who has been imitating Clinton on the show since she announced her candidacy for president.
“Broad City” airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m./9c on Comedy Central.
