IMG Names Karen Brodkin President of Business Affairs

The former EVP of business and legal affairs at Fox Sports Media Group joins the WME-owned management group

IMG has named Karen Brodkin its new president of business affairs where she will oversee the global sports and media management group’s worldwide business dealings.

Brodkin joins the company after serving as EVP of business and legal affairs at Fox Sports Media Group. While there, she negotiated professional and collegiate media rights acquisitions with several major sports leagues, including the NFL, MLB, NBA, NASCAR, NHL and the UFC. She also oversaw many Fox Sports Media Group’s production, programming and talent agreements.

Previously Brodkin spent five years as an entertainment attorney, working with high-profile clients like Garth Brooks, Spike Lee, Warner Brothers, and New Line Cinema.

As TheWrap previously reported, IMG brought on another new executive in August when the company named Doug Scott executive vice president of marketing and brand solutions.

IMG was acquired by William Morris Endeavor and Silver Lake Partners in a 2013 deal worth over $2 billion.
