Jake Gyllenhaal Gets the Taste Slapped Out of His Mouth on ‘The Tonight Show’ (Video)

Jimmy Fallon triumphs over the “Southpaw” star in dramatic game of “Slapjack”

As if Blackjack wasn’t stressful enough, the loser of “The Tonight Show’s” version gets decked with a giant open palm.

Jake Gyllenhaal was the latest victim of Jimmy Fallon’s “Slapjack” — though if anyone could take a beating right now, it’s the guy who’s promoting boxing film “Southpaw.”

That said, Gyllenhaal got a little shafted in Round 3, when the guest was the dealer. Everyone knows the dealer hits on 16, but the actor was never given the option. Instead, he got an enormous foam hand across the mouth for the second time last night.

“After this, things will never be the same,” Gyllenhaal said. Indeed.

“Southpaw” shuffles into theaters on July 24.
