James Franco Plays Jennifer Aniston in ‘Friends’ Spoof for AOL’s ‘Making A Scene’ (Exclusive Video)

The multihyphenate takes on Rachel Green and Matt LeBlanc’s Joey Tribbiani for AOL Originals series

James Franco tackles more TV institutions and the A-list actresses that star in them.

In TheWrap’s exclusive preview of a new episode of his AOL Original Series “Making A Scene,” Franco takes on the NBC juggernaut “Friends” — playing both Jennifer Aniston‘s Rachel Green and Matt LeBlanc‘s Joey Tribbiani.

Watch Franco rock the “Rachel” cut and dancing to the “Friends” theme song here.

He and a group of graduate students combined the characters of the series with a major television trope — the “Very Special Episode.” Actors portraying the likes of Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox gather to host an intervention for a dear friend — Marcel, the monkey.

In it’s sophomore season, Franco has mashed up “Freaks and Geeks” with “Saved By The Bell” — as well as “Breaking Bad” with “Sex and the City,” where he played Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw.

The new episode comes available Wednesday at Midnight.
