Jessica Jones may be physically stronger than her nemesis Kilgrave in the second trailer for Netflix’s new Marvel series, but his mind is more powerful, as he has the ability to control other people’s thoughts.
Krysten Ritter plays the eponymous private detective who’s busy fighting crime without a mask after a failed stint as a superhero. Still, she ends up facing off against a supervillain when Kilgrave (David Tennant) starts terrorizing the city with his mind games.
Mike Colter, Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty and Wil Traval co-star in the series that will eventually tie into “Daredevil” when the two Marvel comics characters team up with Colter’s Luke Cage and the as-yet uncast Iron Fist as “The Defenders.”
“Jessica Jones” premieres 13 one-hour episodes on Netflix at midnight on Nov. 20.
