Webby Awards Nominations: Jimmy Fallon, Ellen Degeneres, Jimmy Kimmel Among Contenders

Other nominees for the program’s 19th edition include Zach Galifianakis, Kevin Hart and Vice Media

Jimmy Fallon, Ellen Degeneres, and Jimmy Kimmel are the top nominees for the 19th Annual Webby Awards, the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) announced on Tuesday.

Other notable celebrity nominees include Zach Galifianakis, Key & Peele and Kevin Hart. Tinder, Vine, Vice Media, Product Hunt and Tumblr are also nominated.

Academy members including Conan O’Brien, Tumblr founder David Karp, Arianna Huffington, YouTube sensation and video artist Freddie Wong, Internet forefather Vint Cerf and DoSomething.org founder Nancy Lublin will select this year’s Webby Awards Winners, to be announced Monday, April 27.

Fans can vote for winners at the awards show’s website. Winners will be celebrated at a special ceremony held at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday, May 18, hosted by actor and comedian Hannibal Buress. This year’s show will be available on demand at the Webby Awards website the morning of May 19.

Recipients earning the most nominations include: Vice Media (17), CollegeHumor (9), Funny or Die (8), HBO (8), The Guardian (7), Comedy Central (6) and Mashable (6).
