John Stamos, Jimmy Kimmel Create Hilarious Fake Sitcom Openings (Video)

Let the veteran handle this one, funny guy

John Stamos stopped by Jimmy Kimmel’s show on Wednesday night to plug new series “Grandfathered” and “Fuller House,” but the actor also took some time to let his host realize a lifelong dream: filming a sitcom opening with one of the best.

The two went over to a side stage set full of wigs for Kimmel, and had three chances to nail it. They did not.

First up was “Fun Guys!” with Stamos as Cody Arabia and Kimmel playing the scholarly Roger Nantucket. Stamos killed it with the smooth entrance, point and smile; Kimmel did it all wrong.

Take 2. Next was “Roommates!” Yes, they like their exclamation marks over on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” That one didn’t quite play either, thanks to the ABC host’s continued awkwardness, despite a different wig. Kimmel really looked like a serial killer.

Finally, the duo tried “Brotherly Shoves!” where Stamos played Duke Herpes and Kimmel was Dennis Pornography. Guillermo came in to steal the show, however, as goofy neighbor Gooby! (Yes, also with an exclamation mark.)

Gooby! then dropped his catchphrase, which you’ll have to check out the clip to appreciate. TheWrap is going out on a limb with a bold prediction: None of these faux sitcoms will be ordered to pilot.
