Rather than dwell on the breakup of his relationship with Amber Heard, Johnny Depp wants to focus on how it was just a blip on the radar of his fuller-than-average life.

Three days after Heard, 30, filed for divorce to dissolve their 15-month marriage, the 50-year-old actor released the ultimate “moving on — and quickly” message to media about the breakup.

“Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life,” his rep said in a statement Thursday.

“Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”

The pair wed in February 2015 after meeting on the set of 2011’s “The Rum Diary,” an adaptation of a Hunter S. Thompson novel.

Their relationship was a great deal shorter than Depp’s previous long-term union with French singer Vanessa Paradis, with whom the actor has two children. The two announced their split in 2012 after roughly 14 years together. He officially began dating Heard the same year and the pair quickly got serious.

Depp’s mother, Betty Sue Palmer, died May 20 following a long illness. She was 81.

Depp and Heard recently found themselves at the center of controversy when they illegally brought their two dogs into Australia. The couple subsequently recorded a much-mocked apology video last month.

The many-faced actor is currently promoting his latest project with producer Tim Burton, reprising his role as the Mad Hatter in “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” which opens Friday.
