The Jonas Brothers may have reunited for their first album since splitting from Hollywood Records, but that doesn’t mean they’re always on the same page.

In an interview with Out magazine, the guys agree when it comes to their new adult sound and even those recurring gay rumors. “It’s a boy band stereotype; people assume, but we don’t take offense,” Joe Jonas, 24, said.

But, when it came to the pop culture madness surrounding Miley Cyrus’ performance at MTV’s VMAs, the guys were divided.

“It wasn’t my favorite performance of hers,” Joe said. “I think that there’s one way of saying you’ve grown up, and there’s another way — I think that’s her way. Look, people are talking about it, so I think it’s working for what she wants.”

Youngest JoBro, Nick, disagreed,”She’s smart.”

“She’s very smart,” the 21-year-old continued. “We’ve always known that about her. She’ll always be successful. [The performance] was funny — I was laughing.”
