Joy Behar Debates Sexual Compatibility in ‘Late Night Joy’ Clip (Exclusive Video)

Comedian’s TLC late-night show premieres Nov. 4

Joy Behar discusses the importance of sexual compatibility to a marriage in a new clip from her TLC late-night show,”Late Night Joy,” obtained exclusively by TheWrap.

Sherri Shepherd revealed that she and her husband were celibate before they got married, to which Behar’s friend and contributor Susie Essman replied, “Mistake!”

“Because you do not marry someone you haven’t had sex with,” Essman continued. “Sexual compatibility is one of the major things in a marriage.”

Behar echoed the comments, saying there were early ways to tell if a man and woman are compatible. “In the ’50’s we made out for hours without having actual sex.”

“Late Night Joy” is a half-hour talker set inside “The View” host’s New York City apartment. Billed as a “late-night gabfest,” the show will feature Behar, Essman and some of the host’s other real-life friends. They will be joined by celebrity guests, including Theresa Caputo, Wendy Williams, Don Lemon, Shepherd and Colin Quinn.

Among the topics the show promises Behar will tackle with her guests: “Are dating apps ruining our chances of finding true love? Is single the new black? Are there any secrets worth keeping from your husband? Is political correctness killing comedy? Who’s binge eating this week and why?”

“Late Night Joy” will premiere on TLC Nov. 4 at 11 p.m./10c.
