Justin Bieber has made nice with a photographer who claims that the “Purpose” singer punched and kicked him.

Bieber has settled the lawsuit filed against him by Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran, who claimed that the singer attacked him in 2012 outside of a shopping mall in Calabasas, California, while he was out with then-girlfriend Selena Gomez, the photographer’s attorney told TheWrap.

According to the Associated Press, Duran filed suit the following year, claiming that he had suffered severe emotional distress as a result of the alleged encounter.

Bieber is alleged to have gotten out of his car to give a “flying kick” to the photographer’s stomach. The suit claimed that Bieber then punched the photographer in the face.

The terms of the settlement are confidential, but according to TMZ, Bieber didn’t pay out much in the settlement, characterizing it as an amount in the “legal nuisance” territory.
