Kenan Thompson Remembers Bill Cosby’s Penile Advice After ‘Fat Albert’ (Video)

“SNL” star also previews his Dr. Ben Carson impression

Kenan Thompson did a Bill Cosby impression for years on “Saturday Night Live,” using mannerisms that he learned when the two worked together on the set for feature film “Fat Albert.”

There was one other thing that the “SNL” star perhaps could have picked up on, but until recently, he just let it go in one ear and out the other.

“I’m still very proud of that movie because we worked hard on it and had a good time, and it makes people feel good when they watch it — besides whatever’s happening with that dude,” Thompson began his story to Seth Meyers on Tuesday. “But there were, like, little indicators of things that happened that you just go, ‘Hmm. That was a little different.’”

“And one of them was this story that he told me, where he was like, ‘You know, life is good in the movies or whatever, but you just be ready, because when this movie comes out, you’re gonna need two dicks — because women are gonna be all over you,’” the sketch comic recalled.

At the time, Thompson dismissed it in any way he could justify for the man behind Dr. Huxtable. “He’s a guy, and it’s football season,” the actor joked.

Earlier in the clip, Thompson previews his Dr. Ben Carson impersonation for Season 41 of the Lorne Michaels‘ sketch comedy staple.

“SNL” premieres Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC, with host and musical guest Miley Cyrus.
