But he's Errol Flynn, so she's kinda into it
The last wild and wildly inappropriate final days of Errol Flynn are retold in “The Last of Robin Hood,” and the first trailer released for the film focuses on the May-December romance he instigates with a young chorus girl with dreams of making it big in Hollywood.
Kevin Kline plays Flynn, the flamboyant Australian actor who was known for his swashbuckling roles onscreen and his playboy lifestyle off. Living everyday like it's his last — for 10 years straight — he shows no signs of slowing down, and especially not when he comes across Dakota Fanning‘s beautiful young chorus girl character Beverly Aadland.
He's smitten and she sees this as her big break, and when even her mom (Susan Sarandon) is telling her to go for it, a full-blown affair is born — though it naturally spirals quickly out of control and nobody seems to get exactly what they want out of it.
“The Last of Robin Hood” was directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland and will be released by Samuel Goldwyn Films this fall.
