This week’s episode of “Limitless” will finally unveil the backstory of the mysterious Sands.
When Senator Morra’s deadly agent, played by Colin Salmon, enlists Brian’s help to eliminate an immediate threat he needs to keep secret from Morra, Brian learns Sands’ dangerous and shocking past.
As Sands tells Brian (Jake McDorman) his story, Brian’s NZT-fueled brain envisions Sands almost too amazing to be believed life as a comic book, with each newly revealed facet of his story shown in comic panels. See some of the panels obtained exclusively by TheWrap below.
The original comic panels were commissioned from famed comic artists Robbi Rodriguez, Annie Wu, Babs Tarr, Andrew Robinson, Joe Suitor, Mark Bright and Nick Pitarra. The panels below were all done by Bright.
Also in this week’s episode, Brian’s sister Rachel (Megan Guinan) scrambles to cover up his abrupt side mission with Sands when the FBI can’t reach him regarding a new case.
The episode will air Feb. 23 at 10 p.m./9c on CBS.
