Misty Knight is a highly anticipated character on Marvel’s newest Netflix series, “Luke Cage,” and the actress who plays her is already well-adept at the art of playing coy.
In a new episode of “Drinking With the Stars” with TheWrap’s Stuart Brazell, Missick fielded more than one question that she had to answer carefully.
Is there any possibility of a Misty Knight spinoff?
“I do not have the authority to project those things,” Missick laughed, after a well-timed sip of her cocktail.
What about Misty’s bionic arm, which in the comic books came as a gift from Tony Stark?
“Misty Knight is a detective in Harlem, and she’s got this wonderful skill that writers have created, called MistyVision, and she can look at a crime scene or photo and piece everything together… Historically she has a bionic arm, and so you may or may not see that,” she said.
One thing she did spill the beans on: Misty will appear in the team-up show “The Defenders.”
“Spoiler alert! If I lose my job because of this interview, sorry!” she joked. “I was supposed to be on ‘The Defenders,’ until I got fired.”
