Mark Wahlberg may be 44 years old, but to many, he’ll always be one of the New Kids on the Block.

The “Ted 2” star made a surprise appearance with the boy band during a Main Event Tour performance at Madison Square Garden Monday night.

He joined the original members, which includes his brother Donnie, for a performance of the song “Good Vibrations” — the song that made Mark Wahlberg a superstar in 1990. His appearance marked the first time he had joined NKOTB on stage in more than 20 years.

Wahlberg was one of the original members of the group, but left after just a few months to pursue a solo career. He would go on to a successful rap and modeling career before finding success as an actor.

Rappers Biz Markie and 50 Cent also returned to the stage last night to perform “Just a Friend” and “In Da Club,” respectively, after surprising fans at the packed show for the second night in a row.
