Matthew McConaughey is very famous, and yet his YouTube channel had a mere 243 subscribers as of Thursday. How’s that possible? Well, no one really knew it existed.
Therefore, a mere 48 hours ago, the “True Detective” Season 1 star could boast about only 12,500 views of his half-dozen videos. Those engagement figures are growing, however, after one enterprising reporter exposed the secret(ish) presence.
At the time of this writing, the official McConaughey channel has grown to have north of 57,000 subscribers. The video clicks have also skyrocketed.
