Jimmy Kimmel Makes CMA Stars Carrie Underwood, Willie Nelson Read ‘Mean Tweets’ (Video)

Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Florida George Line and Brad Paisley are also victimized 140 characters at a time

There’s nothing like celebrating one of the biggest nights in country music by making the artists read horrific and threatening Twitter posts about themselves. That’s exactly what Jimmy Kimmel did last night, dropping the latest version of “Mean Tweets” — the “Country Music Edition” — after ABC’s CMA Awards concluded.

Luke Bryan kicked it off with this one: “Have you ever gotten so drunk that you said a Luke Bryan song actually wasn’t that bad? Me neither.”

It got worse from there. Brad Paisley was the next victim before Darius Rucker was forced to read the following: “Some of my best friends are black but Darius rucker sucks ass.”

Later, Carrie Underwood took a turn, but couldn’t make heads or tails of the offensive 140 characters.

Here are our Top 5 “Mean Tweets” from last night:

“Why does Kacey Musgraves look like the house band at Chili’s?”

“I’m legitimately pissed off at the fact that Thomas Rhett is ugly. Like what’re you doin man? Your voice and looks don’t match.”

“I would rather listen to the sound of my grandpa eating a nectarine for 3:30 than listen to a Florida Georgia Line song.”

“Gross. I just thought of Scotty McCreery.”

“Little Big Town I would buy a ticket to one of your concerts just so I could punch each of you in the face.”
