London-based Ignite’s team of more than 50 will join Wasserman’s consulting division, working with brands like American Express and Pepsi
Wasserman Media Group has acquired Ignite, a London-based agency specializing in marketing built around live events, the company announced on Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Ignite, which has worked with the likes of the NFL, NBA and Barclay’s Premiere League, has been responsible for more than 10,000 marketing activations in upwards of 50 countries, including at music events like Live Earth and Live 8. Event Magazine has named it the Brand Experience Agency of the Year two years running.
Ignite’s team of more than 50 will join Wasserman’s consulting division, working with brands like American Express and Pepsi.
“Ignite’s experience and capabilities will further enable our teams to connect key client strategic initiatives directly with the audiences they are working to engage,” WMG Chairman and CEO Casey Wasserman said in a statement. “Most significant is that the Ignite team is perfect cultural fit for Wasserman, and we look forward to immediate and substantial results.”
