James Corden must have made a wrong turn somewhere, because on Wednesday he’ll arrive at the White House for a very special “Carpool Karaoke.”
“The Late Late Show” ran a preview clip last night, which depicts its host arriving for a typical tour, complete with some very stern security.
What he got, however, was quite atypical.
Michelle Obama hopped in the passenger seat of Corden’s (likely) rental Range Rover, asking if the two could listen to some music. As Missy Elliott blared, the First Lady noted that the moment was only the second time in seven and a half years that she has been allowed to ride shotgun and rock out to some tunes. The first time was months ago, when her daughter got her driver’s license.
