MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski said new White House Communications chief Anthony Scaramucci’s comments to The New Yorker were “absolutely disgusting” but she’ll cut him some slack because they were directed at Steve Bannon.
“I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own c–k,” Scaramucci said about Trump’s chief strategist during a heated phone call with reporter Ryan Lizza.
“I can’t believe he said it. But he said it about Steve Bannon and he is in there for fire everybody, so let’s not kind of trip on ourselves here,” Brzezinski said. “Let’s watch the story.
Scaramucci also called Chief of Staff Reince Priebus “a f–king paranoid schizophrenic” during the phone call.
“He’s got his targets set on Reince Prebus and, it appears, Steve Bannon as well. Maybe he will make a big, good difference for this White House,”Brzezinski said.
Scaramucci essentially blamed the reporter for publishing his comments.
“I made a mistake in trusting in a reporter. It won’t happen again,” Scaramucci tweeted Thursday evening.
Ironically, Trump’s communications director once scolded someone on Twitter for using curse words, telling them: “I like the give and take as long as it is without the curse words, my kids are on this thing called Twitter!!”
Scaramucci admitted via social media on Thursday that, “I sometimes use colorful language. I will refrain in this arena but not give up the passionate fight,” for Trump’s agenda.
