It's not just talks. Chloe Moretz has officially joined the cast of Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows," TheWrap has confirmed.

The 14-year-old will star alongside Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer in the gothic horror tale about the vampire Barnabas Collins. She will play Carolyn, the daughter of Michelle Pfeiffer's character Elizabeth Collins Stoddard.

The movie is based on the "Dark Shadows" television series that ran on ABC from 1966 to 1971.

The young actress has worked with Depp recently. The two starred in Martin Scorsese's "Hugo Cabaret," set to be released Nov. 23.

Moretz is now filming "Hick," Derick Martini's comedy with Blake Lively, Juliette Lewis and Alec Baldwin.

Depp, David Kennedy, Christi Dembrowski, Graham King and Richard D. Zanuck are producing "Dark Shadows." Seth Grahame-Smith wrote the screenplay based on Dan Curtis's characters.

Moretz is repped by WME and 3 Arts.
