Did Christopher Nolan's "Inception" crib from an old "Uncle Scrooge" comic book?

That's the allegation that has had the internet quacking since someone recently decided to do some digging in Disney's free comics archive.

Baring a close resemblance to the labyrinth plot of Warner Bros.' "Inception," the comic strip finds the Beagle Boys breaking into Scrooge McDuck's mansion while he is sound asleep and invading his dream to get him to reveal the combinations to the locks on his vault door.

Donald Duck is then sent into his uncle's dream (a la Leonardo DiCaprio's Dom Cobb) to flush out the wanna-be extractors, because if Uncle Scrooge wakes up while they're in his dream, it would doom both him and the Beagles.

The two-part, 26-page comic book titled "The Dream of a Lifetime!" was published by Boom! Studios in May 2004. You can read the comic in its entirety online for free, and if you have a few minutes to spare then you should, as it was better than the "Inception" comic that served as a prologue to the movie.
