Shawn Levy has confirmed to TheWrap that he has signed on to direct an action-adventure film that will re-team him with Hugh Jackman, star of the filmmaker's upcoming DreamWorks film "Real Steel."
Fox has acquired the untitled pitch, which will be written by "Lethal Weapon" and "Lost" scribe Carlton Cuse." Levy's 21 Laps shingle will produce.
"Real Steel" is due out October 7.
