Universal's sequel to "Pitch Black" and "The Chronicles of Riddick" hits theaters on Sept. 6
The first trailer for Vin Diesel's second summer sequel, "Riddick," has hit the web and shows the titular anti-hero taking advantage of his night vision to battle nearly a dozen bounty hunters after his head.
Also to Riddick's advantage? The thousands of blood-thirsty alien predators that only come out at night.
While the second installment of director David Twohy's science-fiction franchise shid away from the dangerous planet audiences first discovered Riddick on, this one promises many more of the same creatures he fought off in "Pitch Black."
Karl Urban ("Star Trek Into Darkness") and Katee Sackhoff ("Battlestar Galactica") also star in "Riddick," which lands in theaters on Sept. 6. Here's a preview:
