‘Community’ Hints at Drama, Conflict and Suspense in New ‘Mad Men-Themed’ Teaser (Exclusive Video)

The NBC comedy releases a new promo that may remind viewers of a certain award-winning AMC drama

The upcoming fifth season of NBC’s “Community” is clearly differentiating itself from the one before it.

With Dan Harmon back in charge and a premiere episode titled “Repilot,” that’s exactly what the show’s fans should expect.

“Fans know it,” Jim Rash, who plays Dean Pelton, told TheWrap during a visit to the set. “There’s a depth again to the episodes that make you want to re-watch it, because it’s hitting on levels that Dan goes to. On the surface it’s all great, but if you dig deeper it’s even better.”

And, there will be a new professor… “Breaking Bad’s” Jonathan Banks will recur for 11 episodes as the school’s prickly criminology professor.

And later in the season, “Daily Show’s” John Oliver will reprise his role as Professor Ian Duncan for six episodes.
