New ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ Marquee Unveiled at 30 Rock (Photo)

The bright lights at Rockfeller Center won’t all be on a huge Christmas tree this holiday season

Most comedians just want to see their name in lights on a marquee one day. NBC took the honor a step further, building a brand new one for Jimmy Fallon.

The signage was officially unveiled on the 6th Avenue side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Tuesday, the first billboard located at the entrance.

“Every time I walk in the building and see that marquee, it will remind me of the legacy of ‘The Tonight Show’ and how honored I am to be a part of its incredible history,” Fallon said.

“The new marquee is a bold reminder that ‘The Tonight Show’ is back in New York City from historic 30 Rockefeller Plaza,” added John Wallace, president, NBCUniversal Operations and Technical Services. “Showcasing our iconic NBCUniversal programs and talent, plus improving the fan experience, are key elements of our comprehensive building redesign project.”

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” is the No. 1 talk show across late night TV. It is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and produced by Josh Lieb. Gavin Purcell produces.
