NBCUniversal Names Jason Zajac EVP of Strategy and Business Insights

New exec will have primary responsibility for developing the company’s long-term strategy

NBCUniversal has named Jason Zajac Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Insights, the company announced Wednesday.

In this role, Zajac will have primary responsibility for developing the company’s long-term strategy, including the evaluation and execution of growth investments across the global enterprise.

Zajac also will oversee the NBCUniversal corporate research group, providing consumer and business insights across the portfolio and creating new capabilities to best support the businesses’ needs.

He will be based in New York City and report to NBCUniversal CFO Anand Kini.

Zajac joins NBCUniversal from the Boston Consulting Group, where he was a San Francisco-based Partner and Managing Director in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice.
