New ‘Daily Show’ Promo Shows Trevor Noah Prepping for 2016 Election (Video)

“I’m a visual learner,” he quips to correspondent Jordan Klepper while trying to brush up on the massive Republican field

Since Trevor Noah is taking over Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” right as the 2016 Presidential election heats up, he’s trying to do some studying before the show premieres.

In a new promo for the late-night show, the host enlists the help of correspondent Jordan Klepper, whose method of quickly rattling off the names of more than a dozen Republican presidential candidates proves too much for Noah.

“I’m a visual learner,” he says, prompting Klepper to wheel out so many headshots that nearly the entire studio is filled — and that’s before getting to the Democratic candidates.

Noah, Steve Bodow, Jen Flanz, Tim Greenberg, Jill Katz and Adam Lowitt are the executive producers of “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” with Hillary Kun as co-executive producer. Pam DePace, Justin Melkmann, Stuart Miller and Baratunde Thurston serving as supervising producers.

The series is directed by Chuck O’Neil.

“The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” premieres on Monday, Sept. 28.
