‘The Flash’ Trailer Teases Superhero and Supervillain Teamups (Video)

Stephen Amell, Robbie Amell bring Arrow and Firestorm back to Central City in new look at upcoming episodes

Just one superhero isn’t enough to battle all that’s coming up on “The Flash.” The newest trailer for the rest of The CW show’s first season teases plenty of teamwork on both sides of the good vs. evil divide.

At the center of the action is still Barry (Grant Gustin), aka the superspeedster known as The Flash and his search for Reverse Flash, who he doesn’t yet know is really his mentor Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), and whose real name is Eobard Thawne, a time-traveling supervillain.

In the meantime, there’s plenty of other danger for the Flash to battle, including the new Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre), who’s brought friends with him. This, of course, prompts the good guys to team up too, and the newest trailer teases the first onscreen collaboration between Flash, Arrow (Stephen Amell) and Firestorm (Robbie Amell).

In the category of people who don’t seem to understand the term “secret identity,” Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) is also in town, testing out his new moniker of Atom, while Laural (Katie Cassidy) is seen revealing her alter-ego of Black Canary to Cisco (Carlos Valdes).

“The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
