Danielle Brooks, a breakout star among the expansive cast of Netflix’s “Orange Is The New Black,” cozied up to the bar for TheWrap’s “Drinking With the Stars,” where she dished about favorite Taystee moments and the show’s just-released Season 3.
“The shot of V getting smashed by the van was like a moment to go down in history,” Brooks told host Greg Gilman of the Season 2 finale cliffhanger where Lorraine Toussaint’s villain is mowed down by a car in the final moments.
“But my favorite Taystee moment, I think, would be with Poussey (Samira Wiley) when Poussey decides to tell Taystee how much she loves her and kisses her. That’s such a sweet moment between the two.”
And while we know plenty about characters played by stars Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox and Natasha Lyonne, expect more exposition from lesser known cast.
“There are still so many different back stories that are told this season. You think you know a person and then you really dig deep into their life and its totally the opposite of what you could ever imagine. ”
