The “Outsiders” Season 1 finale airs tonight and fans are dying to know one thing: What is going to happen to Sally Ann (Christina Jackson) and Hasil (Kyle Gallner)?

The two appeared to part ways at the end of last week’s episode, but both stars believe that the relationship between their characters — whom fans have dubbed “Sasil”– is not over yet.

“If you’re keeping Hasil true to his word, you honestly have to believe he’s putting the family over her right now but he’s going to come back for her with a vengeance,” Jackson said. “And nothing has been easy for them the entire season. They haven’t had a moment’s peace.”

“There is a journey these characters have to go on,” Gallner added. “And what I think people really enjoy is getting to explore these characters individually. I don’t know if we get back together, but you’re definitely going to see them do their own thing in their own world. Sasil is such a strong part of the show, that I’d be surprised if the two of them didn’t have some kind of communication.”

The “Sasil” relationship has indeed proven to be one of the most popular storylines on the show, with Gallner and Jackson often fielding questions from fans about their onscreen chemistry.

“After our sex scene in episode five, my Twitter crashed,” Jackson said with a laugh. “I get asked a lot if Sally Ann is pregnant, will they get married, how blue are Kyle’s eyes in real life, things like that.”

Gallner has had similar experiences, and said credited Jackson for the relationship being so popular.

“Me and Christina, we’re almost making our own show,” he said. “We’re a scene, two scenes, sometimes on a big episode three scenes, at a time but people really attach themselves to these two characters and their relationship. And I credit a lot of that to Christina and her allowing and helping me create Hasil.”

The “Outsiders” Season 1 finale airs Tuesday at 9 p.m./8c on WGN America.
