The Baldwin Brothers’ Thanksgiving plans are in danger of being snapped like a wishbone — and Donald Trump is at the center of the potential fracture.
Stephen and Billy Baldwin are locked in a nasty public feud over the GOP presidential nominee’s candidacy, and it could be leading to a very un-festive Turkey Day.
The nasty, holiday-threatening back-and-forth began earlier this month, when Trump cheerleader Stephen Baldwin accused the media, and CNN personality Anderson Cooper in particular, of bias against Trump.
“If my father were alive today (a veteran) He would be ashamed & disgusted of media biased & manipulation by people like @andersoncooper,” Stephen wrote.
The accusation didn’t sit well with Stephen’s brother Billy, who shot back, “If our father were alive today… he’d smack you in the side of the head for supporting Donald Trump.”
On Friday, Stephen, a Christian evangelist, refused to turn the other cheek and took the nuclear option, essentially threatening to boycott the family Thanksgiving.
“Upcoming holidays w/my bro’s? 4 me it might be turkey w/the Trumps one thing’s for sure …,” he wrote,adding the taunting hashtags “#TrumpTurkeyHuge” and “#Victorynevertastedsogood !!”
This is why you’re not supposed to talk politics at the dinner table, people…
Maybe Alec Baldwin,who lately has been portraying Trump on “Saturday Night Live,” needs to step in and keep the peace. Because if anyone knows how to keep the peace, it’s Alec Baldwin.
