Actress Reese Witherspoon documented her “girls night out” with “Cruel Intentions” costars Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar on Twitter and Instagram when the actresses took in a performance of “Cruel Intentions: The Completely Unauthorized Musical Parody” on Thursday.

“Best girls night of the year!!!” Witherspoon, who played Annette Hargrove in the 1999 film, wrote in one post.

“Let’s do this! #CruelIntentionsMusical #90sflashback,” she wrote in another post that showed the three actresses smiling.

In the film, Gellar played manipulative rich girl Kathryn Merteuil, who bets her stepbrother Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillippe) that he can’t get Annette to give up her virginity to him. If he loses the bet, Kathryn gets his Jaguar, but if he wins, he gets to bed Kathryn. Blair played naive Cecile Caldwell, an innocent pawn in the stepsiblings’ plot.

The film is a contemporary adaptation of 1782 French novel “Les Liaisons dangereuses” (“Dangerous Liaisons”) by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.

The live show, at Rockwell in Los Angeles, stars Katie Stevens in Gellar’s role as Kathryn and Constantine Rousouli as Sebastian.

Molly Cook, who plays Witherspoon’s role in the musical, posted an image of the actress and Gellar taking photos at the performance with the note, “Surreal.”Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon at "Cruel Intentions" musical (mollyjmccook/Instagram)

Oh, and here’s Blair and Gellar allowing their lips to get in on the reunion fun, too.
