Relativity Hires Veteran Producer Adam Fields as Co-President of Production

He has a history with Ryan Kavanaugh’s company, having worked on several of its films including “Limitless”

Relativity has hired producer Adam Fields as its co-president of production. He’ll work alongside Dana Brunetti at the company, which has been beefing up its executive ranks as it emerges from bankruptcy.

Fields most recently served as a consultant at Sony Pictures, but he has a long history with Relativiy, having worked on its movies “Limitless,” “Safe Haven” and “21 & Over.”

Fields will have business affairs, physical production and post-production reporting to him at Relativity, while Brunetti will focus on the creative side of the studio’s film and TV business. Both executives report to Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh.

The well-respected executive has been working in Hollywood since the ’80s, playing a key role in the making of films such as “Sixteen Candles” and “The Breakfast Club.” Fields recently served as an executive producer on Broad Green’s comedy “Bad Santa 2” and also enjoyed a stint at Miramax, where he had a hand in the success of “The Wedding Ringer.”

Relativity recently hired Lori Sinanyan as its chief counsel after she worked on the company’s bankruptcy proceedings.

Fields’ hiring was first reported by Deadline.
