‘Reno 911’ Cast Reunites in Character to Compete on ‘@Midnight’ (Video)

Thomas Lennon, Ben Garant, and Kerri Kenney-Silver each reprise their roles from the Comedy Central parody

The most incompetent police force ever assembled reunited on Thursday night’s “@Midnight.”

“Reno 911’s” Thomas Lennon, Ben Garant, and Kerri Kenney-Silver competed against each other as their characters Dangle, Junior and Wiegel on the late-night show also on Comedy Central, hosted by Chris Hardwick.

Cedric Yarbrough and Carlos Alazraqui also made a surprise appearance midway through the show, coming back as Officers Jones and Garcia from the police force parody.

“Garcia, aren’t you supposed to be dead?” Kenney-Silver asks, referring to the character’s demise in an explosion at Tacos! Tacos! Tacos! Tacos! in Season 5.

Lennon, Garant and Kenney-Silver, all members of the sketch comedy group “The State,” created “Reno 911” for Comedy Central in 2003. The complete DVD box set is now available for fans to purchase, watch and relive the terribly illegal activities that those law enforcement members were involved in for six seasons.

And you’ll be happy to know (and see) that Lieutenant Dangle can still fit into his snug short-shorts.
