Giving more than a two-months heads-up, Rihanna has pulled out of a scheduled concert date in Colombia due to Zika virus concerns.

Colombia radio station RCN first reported late last week that the pop star was canceling a scheduled appearance at the country’s inaugural Lollapalooza music event.

And now organizers have announced the entire festival is done for, saying that it’s too short of notice to find a replacement.

“We hope to return in the future to realize this first edition of Lollapalooza in the country,” the statement read in part.

Other acts scheduled to perform were Lana Del Rey, Disclosure, Wiz Khalifa, Cage the Elephant, Anderson .Paak, Silversun Pickups, Matt and Kim and The Chainsmokers — all of whom are also presumably off the bill now.

The festival was to take place in Bogota on September 17th and 18th.

Rihanna‘s 2016 world tour, announced last year, listed no dates in any country in South America — where the Zika virus has flourished in recent months.

Zika is a mosquito-borne virus linked to severe birth defects and possible neurological problems in adults.
