Rihanna issued an emotional plea on Monday for help in finding her backup dancer, Shirlene Quigley, who has been missing since early Sunday morning.

“This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!! My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her!” the singer wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of her missing friend.

“If anyone has seen of has any information on @shirlenequigley’s whereabouts…..PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100!!!!”

Quigley, 32, who has also performed with Beyonce, Missy Elliott and Jamie Foxx, according to People.com, has not been seen since boarding a bus at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City around 1 a.m. ET on Sunday.

The dancer lives in North Bergen, New Jersey, and teaches dance at Peridance Capezio Center and Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan.

The police were alerted to her disappearance by her father, NBC New York reported. The concerned parent, who lives in California, said she always called him at 6 p.m. each evening and he got worried when she didn’t get in touch on Sunday.

Quigley’s cellphone was found in a bridal store in the Chelsea area of New York City, but her dad said she could have been there picking up clothes for a show.

However, he said she recently made a strange comment to a friend, saying: “Get ready, it’s about to happen and I’m going to need you to sub for me.”

Missy Elliott also posted about the dancer, asking anyone who may have seen her to “contact the North Bergen police 201-392-2100.”
