Rob Lowe‘s charms are lost on Natalie Morales in a sneak peek from Fox’s new hit sitcom “The Grinder.”
The behind-the-scenes look at the relationship between Lowe’s and Morales’ characters teases intrigue on one side (his), and wholly unimpressed nonchalance on the other (hers), so it’s probably only a matter of time before these two kids get together.
As a wildly popular television star, Lowe’s Dean assumes Morales’ Claire was a fan of his show, but she surprises him by saying she found it cheesy and melodramatic.
When she tells him flatly, “There’s no chance in hell you and I are ever gonna happen. Like, it’s impossible,” he takes it as a challenge instead.
“The Grinder” airs at 8:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
