James Gunn's space opera also stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Lee Pace and Benicio del Toro
Comic book fans flipped when Marvel debuted the first trailer for “Guardians of the Galaxy” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Tuesday night — but a common complaint was that the film's potential breakout star, Rocket Raccoon, never speaks.
Marvel has rectified that problem, releasing a Rocket Raccoon-centric 28-second promo that features Bradley Cooper's voice as the loveable, furry, gun-toting bad-ass procyonid. And he sounds a lot like … Bradley Cooper.
James Gunn directed “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, John C. Reilly, Lee Pace, Glenn Close, Benicio del Toro and features the voices of Vin Diesel and Cooper. Disney will release “Guardians of the Galaxy” on Aug. 1, 2014.
Watch the video to hear Rocket Raccoon say the word “booty” and five others.
