A woman proposed to her girlfriend of eleven years during a Q&A for Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut, “Lost River,” at South by Southwest on Saturday.
Toward the end of the event, a woman in the audience chose not to ask a question about the film, but rather made a spontaneous proposal to her girlfriend, whom she said had just moved to Austin to be with her after they had been apart for two years.
The proposal delighted Gosling, who even offered his microphone to the woman so she could share her love with the rest of the audience.
After the applause died down, Gosling said, “Well, let’s go out on that note, shall we?”
