“Saved by the Bell” star Dustin Diamond is back behind bars following an alleged probation violation, TheWrap has learned.

Diamond, who played Screech on the ’90s sitcom, is being held in the Ozaukee County jail in Wisconsin for a probation hold, the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s office confirmed on Thursday. Such a hold is instituted if a probation officer believes a person has violated the terms of their probation. Diamond is expected to be held while an investigation on the alleged violation is conducted.

Diamond was sentenced to four months in jail back in June, of which he served three months for good behavior.

After a three-day trial in May 2015, Diamond was cleared of felony charges but found guilty of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. Diamond’s girlfriend, Amanda Schutz, was also convicted on a misdemeanor charge for disorderly conduct stemming from the incident.

Diamond found himself in legal trouble after stabbing a fellow patron at a bar on Christmas Day 2014, though he claimed he never intended to hurt anyone.

He testified that rowdy fans punched his girlfriend in the face and he wanted to scare them with his pocketknife. He used the weapon on 25-year-old Casey Smet, testified that he didn’t even know he had been stabbed until later in the evening, indicating the seriousness — or lack thereof — of the injury.
