Scott Foley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Pratt Read Mean Tweets on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ (Video)

Reactions vary from Lena Dunham’s sadness to Bob Newhart’s noplussed, Lisa Kudrow’s delight and Adam Sandler’s rage

Enough time has passed that it was time for another edition of “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” This time around, he had celebs from Gwyneth Paltrow to Gerard Butler, Bob Newhart, John Stamos, Chloe Grace Moretz, Lisa Kudrow and Chris Pratt face their online critics.

Some celebs looked sad at the mean tweets they had to read, like Paltrow learning that she looks like Big Bird, while others laughed and a few even lashed out at the person who wrote the message. Chris Pratt, whose tweet simply read “F-ck off, Chris Pratt” was touched, smiling and saying, “Aww.”

Stamos was called out for having a “gross belly button” in his tweet. “That’s f-cked up,” he said, standing up and exposing his belly button. After seeing it, though, he said, “He’s right.”

Lisa Kudrow had the sneakiest insult, and it caught her off guard as she read it. It started off so sweetly before randomly slamming her. “I hope you all have a great weekend!” she read. “Except you, Lisa Kudrow. F-ck you”

Check out mean tweets about and read by Lena Dunham, Ty Burrell, Britney Spears, Geena Davis, Scott Foley, Michael Chiklis, Ted Danson and Adam Sandler, who was offered up to aliens for a meal, in the video above.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
