Hulu has partnered with Showtime to launch the premium cable network’s streaming service in July, Showtime chairman and CEO Matthew C. Blank announced on Tuesday with Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins.

Starting next month, Hulu subscribers will have the option to add Showtime to their Hulu subscription and stream on most internet-connected devices. The deal makes Showtime the first premium service to be offered on Hulu.

Hulu’s nearly nine million subscribers will soon be able to sign up for Showtime through its online site, granting them unlimited on-demand access to every season of Showtime’s original series and new episodes as they debut.

The streaming service will make Showtime available for purchase ahead of the July 12 premieres of its two hit series, “Ray Donovan” and “Masters of Sex.”

“We’re excited to be the first premium service available to Hulu’s growing subscriber base and look forward to offering their customers our award-winning original programming, films and documentaries across almost every device,” Blank said in a statement. “Hulu is an important launch partner for Showtime as we continue to expand our service across new platforms and distributors, reaching new consumers wherever a broadband connection is available.”
