Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ Featuring Hailee Steinfeld, Lena Dunham Sparks Internet Frenzy (Video)

Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, Zendaya Coleman, Serayah McNeill, Cindy Crawford, Mariska Hargitay and Ellen Pompeo also get in on the brawling

Anyone in Hollywood who thinks there aren’t enough options for kick-ass female heroes should just check out Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video.

The Queen of 2015 Billboard Awards and filmmaker Joseph Kahn managed to enlist a bunch of cool cameos into just four minutes and four seconds — and the Internet is loving it.

“Bad Blood” the song features the rhymes of Kendrick Lamar, but the video version also utilizes Lena Dunham, Selena GomezJessica Alba, Hailee Steinfeld, Zendaya Coleman, Serayah McNeill, Cindy Crawford, Mariska Hargitay and Ellen Pompeo, among others, in key, destructive roles.

Released Sunday evening to open ABC’s awards telecast, the official “Bad Blood” Vevo video is already closing in on 1 million views in just under 24 hours. It’s also hovering atop key social media mountains.

The ditty itself is widely understood to be about Swift’s falling out with fellow pop superstar Katy Perry, though there are no outright disses towards the “I Kissed a Girl” singer in the lyrics, nor is there a lookalike in the video.

Still, there’s a lot of good action to be gleaned, the tune is catchy and many of the combatants are not tough to look at in leather.

Swift won eight BBMAs last night; perhaps she’ll add to her collection next year thanks to her new hit single. Watch the video above.
