TheBlaze host Tomi Lahren said President-elect Donald Trump needs to “get off Twitter” and “go to a security briefing” in a segment that probably shocked her conservative fan base.
“I told you I wasn’t going to be a Trump minion. I gave you my word I would hold Trump’s feet to the fire and use my platform for truth, not just partisanship and I keep my promises,” Lahren said. “So, future president Trump, this message is for you. Please, for the love of god, learn, get off Twitter and learn. Take a break from your chest-beating victory tour and go to a security briefing.”
She continued: “Don’t go to war with the CIA, its not helping matters. I promise you, it’s not.”
Lahren has quickly become a big name in the media industry and calls herself “liberals’ worst nightmare.” She recently appeared on “The Daily Show,” where things got heated with host Trevor Noah.
“For somebody who is not racist, you have to spend a lot of time saying, ‘I’m not racist,’” Noah said.
The two then sparred over recent protests of Donald Trump’s presidential election victory and the Black Lives Matter movement. It probably didn’t help that Lahren previously compared the latter to the KKK.
“You can’t expect them to play fair,” Lahren said. “I don’t expect any liberal show or comedy show or anything from the mainstream media to be fair. I’ve already accepted that.”
